Takaidono Kirin (Kirin Takaidono) The youngest inside the Paradox Mansion and has amnesia problems. He is called 'wonder boy' as he always forgets everyone's name after 24hrs.

Appearance

Kirin is a tall young man surprised by his setting of age, yellow green hair and lime eyes. He resembles Shinji a bit because of the color, but Kirin's hair is bit longer than his. Kirin can be seen wearing lots of clothing layers. Inside he wears a long dark blue sleeve with a blue t-shirt atop of it, you can also notice on his wrist there is another long sleeve layer colored grey that is part of his sleeves.

Then the last touch is a yellow sleeveless shirt while he wears an orange breeches short. Below he had a sweet long legged socks knitted lines can be seen on it as a mark of design. His rubber shoes were matching his shorts and has black lines traced on its body corners. These kind of rubber shoes are considered to be very soft and comfortable insides.

Later on it was reveal, the reason Kirin had so much clothing covering his body is because he had burn marks all over around his skin. Due to memory lost he couldn't explain how he even got them, but one thing is for sure Kirin is not comfortable to be seen naked by anyone. This is shown on the pool chapter, he decided to swim in the pool while wearing his clothes unlike others are bare chest as they wore instead Ito and Zou's swim-short collaboration attire.

Personality

Kirin is pretty lax kid, well of course he is the youngest expect him to be cheerful and full of energy. Kirin had the habit of calling everyone with nicknames he made in order to remember the gist of the time he spent with others. The iconic nickname he gave is 'Keropi' that caused Oubara Kuroro to be bullied in the mansion by all. However throughout his forgetful condition he seems to be mature when needed at the right timing. Kirin seems to care a little for his somewhat Alzheimer's caused by his amnesia.

The people of paradox mansion considered it as Alzheimer because everyday the world resets on Kirin's memory. For example he talked to everyone, after 24hrs he will ask again who are the people around him thus you have to re introduce yourself to him over and over again. Meaning his memory reset's whenever the day passes by, however there is one thing that is much more interesting to his condition considering this 'type of amnesia', the fact Kirin does not forget the place he went but only the people like their names and faces put's some puzzling reasons why.

Kirin revealed to Iruka that the reason he remembers everyone's invented names because he wrote them down to his notebook, he also have a giraffe toy recorder with him and still unknown where he got them. Kirin is first found by Okane Tanuki and gave him the nickname 'wonder boy'. Eventually they find it 'rude' to call him like an outcast species so everyone decided a name based on his curse, clothing and the way how he speaks making it as 'Takai-dono Kirin'.

Kirin's memory starts to improved after being kissed, the giraffe recorder also helped him. In chapter 5 you can see Kirin subconsciously found Iruka Naru's charm seashell necklace, hinting his body remembered that he promised to looked for it and return it to her.

Trivia

• 'Kirin' literally read as 'Giraffe'. and 'Takai' means tall, 'Dono' means my-lord. By combining them, the people of paradox is able to make humane surname and proper calling to Kirin who have no memories of his past not even his own name. Kirin's real name is yet to be revealed.

• Kirin is pretty close with Okane Tanuki though it is not shown much due to limited character screen time in the manga. The author said if ever Paradox Mansion will get animated she would like a bonding time for the two. Because Tanuki is the one who named him when he found the boy unconscious in the purple roses field. Asking everyone's opinion on naming wonder boy as 'Takaidono Kirin', everyone agreed to his suggestion.

• Kirin sometimes wishes Shinji to be his big brother because of how he feels nostalgic, despite how Tanuki is supposed to be his father figure.

• Kirin is actually doing it on purpose on 'not' bothering to remember everyone's given name because it's a pain and unfair. Also sometimes it is shown he is having fun on giving tame ugly nicknames to tease them, typical kid.

• Kirin's birthday is May 27 because he was found around the month of May and this one is decided by everyone.

• Kirin is happy to have Iruka Naru as a big sister figure, but ever since he was kissed by her Kirin starts to hit puberty. Kirin does admit he had crush to Iruka.
